But while there is a lot to celebrate in our past, there is almost as much opportunity ahead of us. We are seeking a Sr. Analyst, Marketing Analytics!

As our Sr. Analyst, Marketing Analytics we are looking for someone who will help the marketing team identify opportunities for scaling the inbound customer acquisition. This person will work with marketing leaders responsible for web traffic, search engine optimization, blog, marketing campaigns and self-serve customer acquisition across all product lines. The ideal candidate has a passion for combining strong data & analytical skills with marketing strategy. The Sr. Analyst, Inbound Marketing will engage with leaders across the organization to create packages of actionable insights to drive business strategy and tactics.

Ideally, the candidate has a strong practical foundation, with 6+ years of analyst experience in a marketing environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about storytelling with data and clear presentation.

This position reports to the Director of Data and Analytics on the Marketing Team. The Marketing Analytics Team is the “outcome factory” - assisting marketing leadership in defining business outcomes for all campaigns and marketing efforts.

What you’ll do:

  • Use multiple data sources (including Google Analytics, Hubspot, Salesforce, and product data) to analyze marketing pipeline velocity, optimize conversion rates, and drive a deeper understanding of customer behavior
  • Be the marketing team data architect (example: create the data layer for Google Analytics 4 360)
  • Line up corporate goals with marketing team 
  • Construct reports and dashboards for marketing leadership
  • Craft presentations to inform the marketing leadership team and communicate actionable insights
  • Data modeling the self-serve inbound business
  • Identify and standardize meaningful key performance indicators
  • Assist the Marketing leadership team in identifying what has and has not worked in past marketing campaigns and how they can use this evidence to drive future campaign effectiveness
  • Design and implement a mechanism for multi-touch attribution to track which marketing efforts are having a direct impact on customers.
  • Create a detailed inbound self-serve customer funnel dashboard for the Marketing team
  • Identify who our self-serve customers are and what data we can (or want to) attribute to them
  • Create and maintain a SEO dashboard to publish our top funnel performance to the rest of the organization
  • Create and maintain campaign tagging for keyword SEM Rush data
  • Annotate web traffic data with notable marketing events
  • Create and maintain a blog performance dashboard
  • Work with Content team to get the blogs categorized with streamlined tagging 
  • Work with the head of our consumer product line to standardize metrics and create reports/models to show marketing impact on consumer revenue

The Right Fit: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) 
  • Minimum of 6+ years as an analyst (preferred in Marketing environment)
  • Strong and demonstrable quantitative skills 
  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and goal-oriented environment
  • Maintain an entrepreneurial work ethic that is required to drive business outcomes
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Positive“can do” attitude, passionate and able to show commitment 
  • Ability to set and manage multiple priorities
  • Advanced Excel skills; Pivot tables, advanced formula functions, and macros
  • Experience in SQL/SOQL/BigQuery
  • Project experience with data automation & relevant programming languages (i.e. Python)
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with Google Analytics, Hubspot, Salesforce, and Tableau
