While there is a lot to celebrate in our past, there is even more opportunity ahead of us: Backblaze is in full-scale mode we’re looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team.

Remote - San Mateo or Seattle preferred

What You’ll Do

  • Develop the general engagement strategy for our B2B contact database
  • Manage the B2B newsletter and webinar strategy and execution, coordinating with other marketing teams on deliverables and managing process
  • Manage engagement program end-to-end
    • Plan and create mid-bottom funnel initiatives that foster conversion opportunities and improve net retention.
      • Cross-sell/upsell campaigns
      • Event and webinar engagement 
      • Newsletter program
    • Test and evolve programs to align with company and marketing goals
    • Develop messaging and targeting with Product Marketing and Publishing teams
    • Execute programs, working with Marketing Operations when needed
  • Work closely with greater Customer Journey Marketing team on implementing a holistic strategy
  • Establish success metrics and performance measurement, identifying strategic and tactical opportunities for improvement

The Right Fit

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in B2B lead engagement, email marketing, or similar Marketing field
  • 5+ years leading and executing marketing campaigns
  • 3+ years of experience in email and/or database marketing
  • Demonstrable success developing and implementing engagement programs
  • 3+ years experience working regularly in Marketing Automation systems (Hubspot a plus)
  • History of working in and leading cross-functional teams
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple initiatives
  • High level of understanding lead stages, customer pipelines, and funnel schema (experience with Sirius Decisions a plus)
  • CRM systems, Salesforce preferred

Nice To Have

  • Tech or SaaS experience
  • Digital Marketing and CMS experience
  • Comfortable using HTML, CSS, or Javascript
  • High level of understanding of CRM systems, Salesforce preferred
