What’s In It For You:
As the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales, your charter will drive the growth and expansion of our specialized storage cloud services in the mid-market, which is set to exceed $50bn in 2025. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll be a crucial executive team member tasked with steering our sales strategy to capitalize on these burgeoning opportunities. Your role is pivotal in furthering Backblaze as a dominant force helping IT and application developers in use cases, including backup, ransomware protection, media management, application storage, AI, and more. You'll lead the charge in furthering our sales vision, targeting strategic markets, and cultivating relationships that foster long-term success and transformation.

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Final offer amounts include candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials and may vary from the amounts listed below. The base pay range for this position is $300,000 to $375,000.
The role is in our San Mateo, California, office, but we are also interested in hearing from candidates outside the area. Candidates not located in the Bay Area, California, should expect regular travel.
